THE RECENT BOEING 737 MAX CRASHES

Hays Firm LLC recently filed suits against Boeing on behalf of the families of victims of the recent Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines crashes involving the Boeing 737 Max.

Ethopian Air

The family of a Rwandan man who died in the Ethiopian Air on March 10, 2019 recently filed suit in Illinois federal court. The crash happened six months after an accident with the same type of Boeing aircraft, in Indonesia. All 189 passengers were killed. The family of the Rwandan man was the first to file a lawsuit after the March 10, 2019 crash. Hays Firm LLC is acting as local counsel for that family in Chicago, Illinois in connection with this lawsuit.

Lion Air

Family members of the victims of the Lion Air plane crash on October 29, 2018 have filed suit in Illinois, both in state court and federal court. The crash occurred in Indonesia, shortly after takeoff. Many of the lawsuits currently pending in federal court were recently consolidated before the Honorable Judge Durkin in Illinois federal court.
